Using Custom Time Tracking Fields, administrators can tailor the information needed for tracking time records and viewing reports with time tracking. Administrators can edit the Custom Time Tracking Fields by going to the company admin menu (gear icon in the top right) and selecting Company Setup > Custom Fields > Time Tracking Properties
Add Custom Fields
By selecting the Add Custom Time Tracking Fields section, the Administrator can enter a field name, enter a API id for the field, select a field type, and then choose whether the field is required or whether it will have a default value.
Edit Custom Fields
Once the field is created, the administrator can edit the layout and the field types of the custom time tracking fields by selecting Edit Custom Time Tracking Fields. From this layout all of the field names can be changed and the field types can be altered for the custom fields and the system fields for Notes and Date.
