Copy or move databases

Databases can be copied and/or moved from one workspace to another. This is useful if multiple databases are required but use the same or similar fields. Note: You must have administrator privileges to copy or move a database.  

Note: When moving a database across workspaces, comments tasks, and attachments are preserved, but related files are disassociated. When copying a database, no comments, or tasks are preserved.  However, related files and attachments are preserved.
 

Copying databases

To copy a database, navigate to the Database tab and select Select an Action > Copy Database.  Enter a name for the database and select Copy.

 

 

You may choose to copy the database and records or the database without records.

 

Moving databases

To move a databasenavigate to the Database tab and select Select an Action > Move to another workspace.  Choose the correct workspace and then select Move.
