April 27, 2017: @Mention member groups

Are you already a fan of the @mention feature? So are we! This is why we are excited to announce the ability to @mention member groups.

Based on user feedback, we have released the ability to @mention member groups in comments to quickly notify and subscribe groups to different items in iMeet Central. Some examples include:
  • Tasks and milestones: @mention a member group on a task or milestone to notify that group and add the individual users to the CC section of the task or milestone
  • Files, discussions, documents and database records: @mention a member group to notify that group and add the group as a subscriber to the file or database record.

Tasks and milestones:
@mention a member group directly in the comments area to notify the members of the group

All the individual users of that group will be added to the CC'd section of the task or milestone. Note: any user assigned to the task or milestone will not be added to the CC'd section as well but will be notified.

Files, discussions, documents and database records:

We have a busy few weeks planned, so stay tuned for more exciting updates!
