Cloud Assist:
To use Cloud Assist, click on edit and open with Cloud assist
If you already have Cloud Assist installed, you will see the below task bar notification on the bottom right of your screen. This shows that the file is opening on your desktop.
Edit using Cloud Assist: Your file is now ready for editing on your desktop. Changes made are saved back in Central Desktop through Cloud Assist.
File Locked for editing: When editing the file using Cloud Assist other users will see this message.
Once the file is saved back to Central Desktop click Unlock file to allow other users to edit.
To Install:
If you do not have Cloud Assist installed, when you click on open with Cloud Assist you will receive a pop up asking you to download the Chrome extension and then install the exe file.
Once Cloud Assist is installed you can edit Word, PPTX and Excel files.
